Jen grew up surrounded by animals and has spent a large portion of her adult life working with rescue groups as a volunteer and a foster. As a foster (and foster fail), she specialized in seniors, and medical and hospice cases. She always says, it is the honor of a lifetime to give a dog the best last chapter of their life. She has significant experience working with differently abled doggies and understands the challenges that brings.

After working for the government for over twenty years, she fulfilled a lifelong dream to be to work full-time with animals. Through a 300-hour hands-on mentorship program with Canis Bodyworks, she earned her certificate in Canine Massage Therapy, followed by her national certification with NBCAAM. She is also a graduate of the UVM Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Professional Certification course. She is also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.

Jen strives to continue her education in canine massage, animal behavior and communication, and as a doula. Her goal is to provide comfort and healing to those in her care, and to educate her pet parents on ways to enjoy their time with their pets.

In her free time, Jen is an avid reader. She also loves to be in or near the water and traveling.
