Our Services
Massage therapy
Massage helps your dog feel better in their body, whether they’re dealing with pain, stiffness, anxiety, or the effects of aging. Through gentle, intentional touch, we support healing, improve mobility, and promote deep relaxation. It’s not just physical—massage helps anxious dogs feel safer and more connected, strengthening the bond you share. Each session is tailored to your dog’s needs, with care that supports both of you, every step of the way.

Why Massage?
Canine massage is more than just pampering. It’s a gentle and effective way to support your dog’s physical comfort, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. As your dog begins to feel better, you often feel more at ease too. Here’s what massage can offer:

Massage helps relieve chronic pain caused by arthritis, injury, or aging. It offers hands-on relief that supports your dog’s comfort naturally.

Calmer minds and happier hearts
Many dogs carry stress or anxiety. Therapeutic touch helps soothe their nervous systems and promote a sense of calm and balance.

improved movement and flexibility
For dogs recovering from surgery, managing mobility challenges, or just slowing down with age, massage encourages better movement and more freedom.

Wondermutt Wellness Companion Animal End-of-Life Support
When we say goodbye to our beloved companions, it’s more than the loss of a pet - it’s the loss of a family member, a daily presence, a source of unconditional love. That’s why end-of-life support deserves intention, care, and deep respect
What is a Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula?
As a Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula, my role is to walk alongside you before, during, and after this transition by offering emotional, practical, and spiritual support. I know this subject can be one of the most difficult things to talk about or even think about. As someone who has lost many beloved pets, I also know how beneficial these conversations can be.
As a doula, I'm here to offer non-medical support, the kind that’s rooted in compassion, not clinical care. We’ll work together to gather the information, tools, and support you need to feel confident caring for your animal, especially when things feel uncertain or overwhelming. I’m also here to walk alongside you through difficult times, whether you’re navigating anticipatory grief or learning how to carry the weight of loss afterward.

About Me
ABOUT JEN
My lifelong passion for animals began in childhood and evolved into a dedicated career. I've spent much of my adult life volunteering with rescue groups, particularly focusing on fostering senior and medically needy dogs. This experience has given me unique insights into their care, and I believe deeply in providing a loving final chapter for these dogs.
After twenty years in government work, I pursued my dream of working full-time with animals. I completed a 300-hour mentorship with Canis Bodyworks, achieving certification in Canine Massage Therapy, followed by national certification from the NBCAAM. I also graduated from the University of Vermont's Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Professional Certification and the Grief and Bereavement Specialist Professional Certification courses and hold certifications in Pet CPR and First Aid.

Denise
Jen with Wondermutt Wellness is our first go for in-home pet care. We have a special needs dog who is 14 and has orthopedic and neurological challenges. We also have a handicapped cat with special needs. Jen's knowledge, experience, and understanding of our pets needs makes it possible for us to travel knowing that they are in the best care possible. Jen also goes out of her way to check in, send videos and provide other services needed for our home such as watering our garden etc, as our garden is our third baby. And we absolutely LOVE that she is a professional canine massage therapist who can give this amazing service in the comfort of our home. Jen is certainly a diamond in the Ruff!

Joe
Jen is the BEST pet sitter and I highly recommend her! She is experienced, trustworthy and very caring. We have two elderly dogs who need a lot of compassionate care. We have found that Jen is someone who is able to not only handle caring for our older dogs (and also taking care of our 3 cats!), but she also genuinely enjoys older pets and loves being with them! My dogs love her! She doesn’t hesitate to ask questions, gives many updates and sends me pictures of my old boys while we are away. I’m so grateful I found her! When we travel, knowing Jen is at our home caring for all our pets has given me a huge sense of relief!

Goose
Jen started out as a new pet sitter for us, caring for our elderly dogs and our cats. I quickly learned she is a certified canine massage therapist. I had just begun to look into alternatives to help alleviate pain and stiffness in my older dogs, so I was thrilled to have her work on my dogs. Jen is able to identify stiff and sore areas and thru very small, gentle, and specific massage movements, she helps ease their old muscles. I have noticed a big difference in their overall mobility and they love the attention she gives them in the process. I am thrilled they are getting additional pain relief from something other than medication. Hands on therapy from Jen has truly helped my dogs!
